ID Experts was founded in 2003 to address the growing problem of identity theft in a very personal and caring way. Our initial focus was on using best practices to provide a highly personal and effective approach to recovery services for identity theft victims.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of providing these restoration services to thousands of victims and today provide protection to over 3 million Americans. As our presence in the industry has grown, so has our spectrum of services. We expanded our product line for individuals and families to include the most comprehensive protection available from identity crime including state-of-the-art monitoring, reimbursement insurance and advisory services, in addition to recovery.
For the last several years, we’ve been strategically focused on being the leader in data breach prevention and remediation. We have managed data breaches for hundreds of America's largest and most prominent organizations and brands, serving companies in healthcare, financial services and other industries, as well as government agencies and universities in the public sector. In 2007 we became one of only two companies to be issued blanket purchase agreements by the US government General Services Administration (GSA) to provide independent risk assessments for government agencies that experience a data breach.
Today, we continue to expand our lead in data breach products and services by broadening the scope of our offerings. We also continue to work for better identity protection for American consumers, businesses and organizations through the efforts of our exceptional team, our participation in numerous industry organizations and standards bodies, and through efforts such as development of the ID Theft Victims’ Bill of Rights.
