ID Experts Executive Team

Robert S. Gregg

Bob Gregg brings more than 30 years of solid general management and deep financial and public company experience to ID Experts having previously served as CEO, CFO and EVP with several technology companies. Prior to joining ID Experts, Gregg held positions of CFO and Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Service at FEI Company, (NASDQ: FEIC), CFO at Sequent Computer Systems, and President and CEO of Unicru Inc. Gregg was formerly with accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a CPA and graduate of the University of Oregon. He is past president of the board of the Oregon Historical Society and is currently serving on the board of trustees of the OHSU Foundation and the board of the Oregon Sports Authority.

Richard L. Kam

Rick Kam is an expert in the area of privacy and information security. He has extensive experience leading organizations in the development of policy and solutions to address the growing problem of protecting PHI/PII and remediating privacy incidents and identity theft. Prior to founding ID Experts, Kam had 20 years of experience working for IBM Corporation in sales, management, and customer relationship management consulting. He is the chair of the research working group ANSI Identity Theft and Identity Management Standards Panel. Kam is also the chair of the Santa Fe Group Vendor Council ID Management working group. He is a member of the Research Planning Committee for the Center for Applied Identity management research and participated in an invitation only agenda setting workshop in December 2008. Kam received his BA in Management and Marketing from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu, HI

Christopher Kane

With over 30 years of experience in operations and information technology services, Chris Kane brings an accomplished history of Operations and IT management leadership to ID Experts. Kane has been the Chief Information Officer of UniCapital Corporation, Vice President of Information Technology for Portfolio Financial Servicing Company, IT Managing Partner at PacifiCorp, IS Consulting Manager at U.S. Bank, and COO at American Data Services. He holds a B.S. degree in computer science from Oregon State University.

Heidi Nelson

With over 15 years of accounting experience Heidi Nelson is the Human Resources and Accounting Manager at ID Experts. She has worked with many different industries including insurance and benefits, galleries and interior design, manufacturing, information technology, landscaping, accounting, and architecture. Nelson has over a decade of Human Resources experience, including compensation and benefits, recruiting, budgeting, labor relations, organizational and employee development. She holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration and a minor in Psychology from Portland State University.

Doug Pollack

Doug Pollack is ID Experts Chief Marketing Officer, responsible for new products/services, marketing programs and market awareness. Pollack comes to ID Experts with over 25 years experience in the technology industry, having held senior management and marketing positions with Apple Inc., 3Com Corporation, Digimarc and several successful start up companies. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Jason Porter

Jason Porter is Vice President of Sales at ID Experts, bringing 15 years of sales and executive leadership experience and is leading the effort for national expansion of the sales and client services organization. Prior to joining ID Experts, Porter was an Executive Director at Aegis Living. He spent 11 years with Cintas Corporation, serving in a variety of sales, service and operational leadership roles, eventually becoming General Manager. Porter received a BS in Marketing and Management from the University of Oregon.

Chuck Thomas

With over 25 years of financial experience, Chuck Thomas joined ID Experts as Controller, directing all financial planning and accounting. Thomas has served as Vice President of Finance at MBK Northwest, worked in public accounting at Grant Thornton and held various controller/CFO positions throughout his career. He is a CPA and a graduate of Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting.
